Install guide

Install an eSIM on Oppo.

Only selected Oppo and OnePlus models and regional variants include eSIM. Confirm the exact model number and look for Add eSIM before buying.

Install flow

Three screens to understand before you travel.

    Mobile data and roaming

  1. Open the delivery email

After the order is processed, open the delivery email. Keep the QR code or manual activation details available on another screen, or use the phone’s supported on-device install method.

  2. Settings → Mobile network → eSIM → Add eSIM

Open Settings, choose Mobile network, then eSIM and Add eSIM. The exact path varies by ColorOS version and market.

  3. Scan the QR code

Scan the QR code from the delivery email and review the plan shown by the phone. If scanning is unavailable, use the manual activation details only through the phone’s eSIM setup screen.

  4. Give the travel line a clear name

Use a label such as Travel or the destination name. This makes the new eSIM easier to identify when you configure data after landing.

  5. Keep your home line for calls if needed

Keep the preferred line for calls and messages according to your needs. Do not switch mobile data to the travel eSIM until you are ready to use the plan.

  6. After landing: turn on the travel line

Turn on the travel eSIM, select it for mobile data and enable data roaming for that line. Leave network selection on Automatic unless the product instructions say otherwise.

ColorOS menu names differ by version and market. Search Settings for eSIM if the path shown here is not present.
