Does my phone support eSIM?
Quick check
Type your phone model.
Start with a model name
We recognize common iPhone, Galaxy, Pixel, Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, Motorola and Sony model names.
iPhone
Supported variants from the iPhone XS and XR generation onward, including later iPhone and SE models.
Some sales-region variants use different SIM configurations. Confirm the exact model number in Apple’s specifications.
Samsung Galaxy
Selected Galaxy S20-generation and later S-series, Z Flip, Z Fold and other supported variants.
Support varies by model number, market, carrier firmware and network-lock status.
Google Pixel
Selected Pixel 3-generation and later models, including supported Fold variants.
Early Pixel and carrier-sold variants can have additional restrictions.
Huawei
Selected P-series and Mate-series models and regional variants.
Do not assume that every model in a family supports eSIM; verify the exact model number.
Xiaomi
Selected Xiaomi and Redmi flagship variants in supported sales regions.
Availability varies substantially by exact model number and market.
Oppo
Selected Oppo Find, Reno and OnePlus variants in supported sales regions.
Check the manufacturer specification for the exact model number.
Other brands
Selected Motorola Razr, Sony Xperia, Honor, Nothing and other recent variants may support eSIM.
Manufacturer specifications for the exact model and sales region are the authoritative reference.
Two useful checks on the phone:
- 1. Dial *#06# and look for an EID. On many phones, an EID indicates eSIM hardware is present.
- 2. Search Settings for eSIM, Add eSIM or SIM manager. Then confirm that the phone is not locked to another carrier.
These checks are guidance, not a guarantee. Device makers and carriers can change support by model, region and software version.
